Washington State surveyed advanced practice nurses to describe salaries according to demographic criteria, characteristics of practice as well as salary satisfaction. Men earned $6,000 more per year than women and those APN’s working in the hospitalist role earned the highest average salary.
The average salary was reported as $80,071 yearly or $35.13 hourly. APN’s with a Master’s Degree reported $1,370 less income per year than those with a bachelor degree. This difference may be due to the years of clinical experience. …
