Just today we learn that a police officer from Brooklyn, New York, who lost his leg in an on the job accident, has been released from Kings County Hospital. Officer Eric Grimes left the hospital walking on crutches after having refused to use a wheelchair. He is in good spirits and is anxious to return to work.
