When people find out I am a nurse the first question is always, “What hospital do you work for?” After I tell them I do not work for a hospital, it is usually followed by “Oh, what doctor do you work for?” I then explain that I don’t work for a doctor, clinic or hospital, but rather I own a consulting firm. “But I thought you were a nurse.” Yes, I am STILL a nurse.
