Keep us posted on how it is going. I would love to know more. I have a current patient; post amputation with terrible phantom pain. I recommended they start a clinical trial on mirror therapy that is currently accepting patients for two possible scenarios. Here is the post on the mirror clinical trials…..

I have been on mirror th. for 1 hour/day for 5 weeks– (goofy hand post stroke). I think it helps break me out of the learned nonuse issue.

Thanks for including your information here. I was not familiar with mirror box therapy for stroke victims, but it makes perfect sense. I have seen it used with arm amputees while they are learning to work their myoelectric prosthesis. Thanks for sharing.
