Amputations & Prosthetics

I sit on the editorial board of the AANLCP (American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners) journal.  We publish a quarterly journal and this past year we have elected for each journal to have it’s own theme.  I was very pleased to find that we have an upcoming journal on amputations.  Better yet, since this is a special area of interest for me, I am in charge of the amputation themed journal due out this fall.

I am actively seeking information on amputations and the medical treatment and therapies for those patients.  I am particularly interested in some of the new advances in the field of electronics and robotics as well as the longevity, care and maintenance of these devices.  We expect to cover both upper and lower limb amputation as well as none limb amputations.

For those who wish to submit an article for consideration, a one half page ad is extended to you free of charge.  There is no minimum or maximum for article length/word count.  Photos are appreciated as well.  Interested parties should contact me for more information or submissing guidelines.
