Sen. John DeFrancisco, (R-NY), has introduced a bill that would increase the percentage of legal fees lawyers could receive in medical malpractice cases. The bill would repeal a current law that caps the percentage lawyers may receive. DeFrancisco’s bill would allow lawyers to collect up to 33% of malpractice payouts. Read More…
