Our staff is built up of personnel with varied professional backgrounds and expertise, giving us a well-rounded and balanced advantage in our approach and ability to assist our clients in the most comprehensive way.

Victoria Powell – Founder and President

Victoria Powell has been providing nursing education and consulting services for over 18 years. She is a Registered Nurse and holds specialty certifications in Case Management, Legal Nurse Consulting, Life Care Planning and Ergonomic Assessments. Victoria has a special interest in caring for amputation injuries and complex orthopedic problems. She is the proud mother of four and doting grandmother of nine and counting. When she’s not working she loves traveling, reading, surfing Pinterest for her next craft project and spending time playing with her grandkids.

Paige Keen – Expert Witness and Nurse Case Manager

Paige Keen is a Registered Nurse with over 18 years of experience. She joined the VP Medical Consulting team in 2011 and provides Case Management and Legal Nurse Consulting services. Paige also serves as the Chief Flight Nurse for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital and acts as an Expert Witness in the area of Emergency, Trauma, Transport, and Pediatrics. She is married to a firefighter and together they have three children. As an avid Arkansas Razorback fan, she also enjoys attending her children’s sporting events such as soccer, cheerleading and equestrian horseback riding.

Mary Styles – Office Manger and Special Projects Coordinator

Mary Styles has over 25 years of management experience in retail, service, medical and dental industries and has been with VP Medical Consulting since 2006. She is married to her husband Neal and together they have four children. Mary is known as Nana by her beautiful grandchildren and is blessed to be able to spend most weekends with them. She loves to be outside, working in the yard or tending to her honey bees in her spare time. She also has quite a knack for being a frugal fixer upper and the staff loves learning frugal fashion tips from her every week.

Brandie Bland – Bookkeeper and Coding Researcher

Brandie Bland holds a degree in Equine Management but found her skills were better suited for human anatomy. She is a Certified Coder and has over 10 years of experience in medical billing, coding, insurance and durable medical equipment and has been with VP Medical Consulting since 2007. Brandie is married to a railroad engineer and together they have two beautiful children. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family and friends camping, enjoying water sports and fishing.

Robert Powell – IT Professional

Robert Powell officially joined the VP Medical Consulting team in 2010 when he took on a more active role in the development of VP Medical Consulting’s Information Technology. He has upgraded and improved many aspects of the office with the development of an efficient electronic record keeping system and the installation of a high tech internet security system. A classic rock junkie and a sci-fi fanatic, he is also an accomplished artist and craftsman though he claims to be retired from these activities. Robert is Granddad to nine and enjoys playing with and creating elaborate play environments for them.

Romeo and Gracie – Security

This dynamic duo are a vital addition to the VP Medical Consulting team with their vast array of duties – to include but not limited to alerting the staff of visitors arrival and protecting the office from unwanted intruders. When there are no current security threats, they are busy looking for frowns to turn upside down and will gladly perform tricks for a good belly rub. They are also very skilled in taking care of leftovers and thoroughly washing all dishes afterwards. As you can see VP Medical Consulting’s office could not function at its highest potential without them.

RN Wanted

Tired of bedside nursing? Body sore from all the pushing, pulling and lifting? Looking for a challenging and fast paced office position? RN wanted for busy work comp case management company. Must have a minimum of five yrs experience in work comp, rehab, or related field. Applicant should hold either CCM, CDMS, CRRN certifications. Would consider LNCC, CNLCP or CLCP certifications. Salary plus bonus, pension plan, paid holidays and PTO. Must have unrestricted license as an RN in Arkansas or compact state, cell phone, and reliable transportation. Administrative Assistant Needed

Immediate opening for a full time administrative assistant in a busy medical office. Applicant have professional telephone skills/voice, able to multi task, must be a nonsmoker, self- motivated, and love dogs. A strong knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations a plus.
